Lotuspod Bed and Breakfast, Bay, Laguna

December is a very special month for me. Not just that it's my birth month but December is also the month I got married.

We always want to maximize and have some quality time whenever he is on vacation.

During our first anniversary, we did a DIY (Do it yourself) Coron trip and it was indeed a memorable one. On our second year, he is onboard and last year, we were not able to celebrate it due to conflicts on schedule and unforeseen events. So this year, unexpected that he would be here this time of the year, I made sure that we will be able to celebrate it together.

My husband is already scheduled to depart before my birthday and since we have a tight schedule this time. We planned our anniversary celebration in advance and opt to have it somewhere in the nearby area. We are both busy so a relaxing staycation is a great reward for both of us.

I have my lists and my first choice is Lotuspod. Why? Because I have been checking it many times before and it's always fully-booked. Checking out this place and trying my luck again on its availability. This time, I must say that the odds are in our favour as there is a slot available on the dates that we prefer. At last!

We are all set but there was some changes in Alex's seminar schedule. Hoping that we could still make it. Fortunately his last day of seminar is just half-day so we were able to manage to push through. I coordinated to the staff that we might checked-in late.

To our surprise, we were only two couples booked during that date. So we almost have the place by ourselves.

Situated in a small and private location in Bay, Laguna, Lotuspod was used to be an agrifarm. I first saw this while watching a documentary film by Che Che Lazaro and from there I wanted to visit the place.

Lotuspod consists of the a reception area, large pavilion, casita complex, spa lounge, an infinity pool, jacuzzi and kids pool. It is a place that is perfect for couples, barkada's or family bondings especially those who have toddler/kids. There is a tree house and playground dedicated for kids. A slide and trampoline to add up the enjoyment and fun. A zipline is also available. There are bikes which you can also use to roam around the whole place.

We were given a complimentary zip-line but wasn't able to use it. We opt to enjoy swimming at the pool and jacuzzi. It feels like we own all of it. Haha!

The Pavilion

The pavilion is big and very well ventilated, this is where the foods are being served. As per the staff, it can hold up to a hundred pax.

Pool Area

The Pool Area is the view from our room. There is a mini bar (Kawayan Bar) in the pool area.

You can chill in the jacuzzi and let it bubbles up to massage your stressed-out muscles
a kiddie pool 3 feet shallow under a shade right next to the Kawayan bar.

Our room has a small garden with a private entrance, an en suite bathroom, a hot spring tub and a terrace to with a view of the pool. The bedroom opens up to a private terrace, and the bathroom leads out into a private hot tub dipping pool.

Food

Snacks, dinner and breakfast the next day is already included in the package so no need to worry about the foods.

Snack will be offered after checking-in and settling your things to the casita. Then for the dinner and breakfast, you will be asked regarding your preferred time.

We really enjoyed the foods that they served! The dinner and breakfast will make you so full! Haha! The serving is way too many for two persons.

The Narra Spa

You can spot the Spa area from the view at the Molave area.

Massage is optional. We didn't avail it since we intended to swim during the day but their spa is definitely one of the best Spa area that I have been to.

We were able to have a glimpse of the spa since there is no guest during that time. Please take note that you have to book the spa in advance in order for them to prepare it as well during your stay.

It has it's own dipping pool and infinity pool too.

Overall, we really have an amazing stay at Lotuspod. Definitely added to my favourite place for unwinding!

It may be a little pricey but I am telling you, it's all worth it!

HOW TO GET THERE:

Lotuspod is located at 2340 Kalsadang Putol St. Purok 6 Brgy. Puypuy, Bay, Laguna.

Via Public Transportation:

Ride a bus going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Tell the driver to drop you off at San Agustin Church in Bay, Laguna. From there ride a trike going to Lotuspod.

Via Private Car:
If you will bring a private car, just can just use the link that will be given by the reservation specialist. You can just follow the waze direction.

For me, it's advisable if you could bring a private car but I think you can coordinate with the reservation specialist if they can accommodate to pick you/your group at a desired place.

Wow, this resort looks so amazing. I love being in nature and this bed and breakfast would satisfy my need to be in nature. I'd just hope the weather is perfect too. Not too hot, not too cold. A brisk warm day so that I can bask in the sunshine and enjoy a quite moment next to a stream listening to the water move sounds amazing right now.

  19. In any case, it's significant that we face life's difficulties with effortlessness and pride and in the general plan of things the way that an individual needs to wear diapers to bed isn't unreasonably awful. white silk sheets
