Burias Group of Island, San Pascual, Masbate, Philippines - Jona Shares

Burias Group of Island, San Pascual, Masbate, Philippines

After xx years of planning, finally I am able to visit the island and tick this off on my bucket list. It was way back in 2014 I think since we had our Alibijaban Island trip, wherein the place is not yet highly known at that time. We only have limited time which is why we were not able to visit Sombrero Island.

At last, this 2017, we were able to see it and some of the other islands Burias has to offer. Good thing that even if it's already summertime, the place is still not too crowded when we get there.

We joined a group tour in order to save some money. Thanks to JaVee of GalaPH. I first met him when we did our North Caraga trip (Butuan, Surigao, Siargao, Dinagat Islands). We joined forces together with their group to be able to save money. Now he has his own travel agency named GalaPH. So proud of him! If you are looking to join a travel group too for your upcoming travels, check their page and message him. Highly recommended!

Burias Group of Islands Itinerary

The hosted meals I must say are very delicious! It's a buffet, you can eat as long as there is available food at your group's table.

We were not able to do the cliff jump because of the waves at that time. However, we were able to climb and see the view. It was surreal and one of a kind but the next problem is how to go down. haha!.

Check out the little video I made to document our trip. Indeed another memorable trip!

  3. Wow, truly Burias Island in Masbate should be on everyone's bucket list. I like how cloistered the place and the water is so teal and full of life. I haven't been here, but this will surely be penned on my bucket list. Thank you so much for sharing your itinerary with us as well, it would be really a great help.
