There are so many issues that we are facing nowadays and I am sure many of you are aware of it. I will not enumerate everything instead I want to share what I want to focus on.
What struct me the most is the issue about the Implementation of Republic Act 11203 or Philippine Rice Tarification Law which indeed affect our local farmers.
While reading some posts about it, I saw an opportunity to join a group of people who would like to help our local farmers.

It's so heartwarming that so many people really want to help. From each and everyone's initiative: from brainstorming, planning, coordinating and creating committees. All are being done voluntarily by everyone and within one week, the group was able to identify the farmers in need and was able to arrange the transportation of milled rice from Mindoro, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac and La Union so that it will be soon available to direct consumers in Manila.
Starting this September 13, 2019, Friday, Session Groceries mobile app will be accepting preorders for rice. Session Groceries is a mobile app that allows you to buy produce directly from farmers.
The first drop (unang bagsakan) of Rice will be on September 28, 2019 from the farmers of Mindoro.
The group encourage those who will buy to personally pick it up on the said date so that they can also meet the farmers.
