If you are checking my blog posts over the past months, you will notice that I most of my recent posts are farm staycations. So far, I am loving the thought of staying in farms. Enjoying the peaceful sceneries and having a relaxing moment.
I got an invite to revisit Camarines, Norte again and good thing, I am available on the given dates. When Sir Mike of www.Katooga.ph was finalizing the schedule and itinerary, I instantly check it out. Searched about Bag-Angan Farm which is the first place that we will be visiting and we will stay there for the night.
Scanning on the itinerary for the second time and indeed, Camarines Norte is not just about Calaguas Island. There are still so many places to explore and discover. Again the thoughts at the back of my mind such as "Kay ganda talaga ng Pilipinas" and "andami ko pang bibisitahin" keeps me always excited about travelling in my own country.
We went there riding a truck, it's quite bumpy ride makes the way going to that farm enjoyable add up the sceneries along will freshen up your eyes.
I am amazed about the place and when we arrived, it really did not disappoint. The quaint rice fields with some nipa huts and two man-made pools will welcome you.
Sir Arnel Bacer, welcome us immediately when we arrived. Breakfast is waiting for us already. Take note, the owner personally prepared it too. Later on, I learned that he was a chef in his previous work.
Staying here is such a laid back moment. Though there are telecom signals, data connection is weak and you will just end up turning off your data since Facebook and other web applications is not working. Haha!
There is no electricity but they have solar panels to assist you in charging your phones. No aircon nor electric fans, just a fresh air kissing your skin.
Water is fresh coming from the mountain. It is also the running water in the two pools. Swimming at night makes you literally chill.
Going back to basic made me reminisce about my younger days. Simple life and when internet is not yet part of everyones daily life. Running around the playground, chasing grasshoppers or playing bahay-bahayan is what we do back then.
I hope in the future, I could also own a farm like this so that future generation will still have a glimpse of what a simple life is all about.

Getting there seems tiring. It looks so isolated, too. But I guess its perfect for that relaxing long weekend when you want a break from your city life and not want to be disturbed.
