Two Days, One Night at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

We initially booked our flight to Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei and plan to explore also the nearby city or country that we can be able to visit. So after a series of planning and checking, we decided to go to Kota Kinabalu. Good thing, the airfare is on sale so we were able to get it at a cheaper price.

Kota Kinabalu City Mosque

The Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, with its blue and gold dome, is also known as “The Floating Mosque.” Its architectural design was based on Saudi Arabia’s Nabawi Mosque, one of the holiest sites in Islam. It is partially surrounded by a man-made lagoon.

We tried to catch the sunset here but we were late and we had to check with the person in charge at the mosque and we had to pay RM 5 each for the entrance.
