Samal Island is accessible from Davao City via a twenty-minute ferry ride.
Itinerary:
Day 1
Arrive at Davao International Airport then go straight to your resort on Samal Island.
We spent the half-day relaxing on the beach and exploring the island.
We hired a habal-habal ride going to Hagimit Falls and Monfort Bat Sanctuary.

Day 4
Going back to Davao City and prepare for our flight going back to Manila.
Book a flight from Manila to Davao. You’ll be arriving at the Francisco Bangoy International Airport. It is around 1 hour and 45 minutes travel time. Local airlines with direct flights from Manila are Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, and AirAsia.
From the airport, you can take a taxi. Just be sure to take a metered taxi to avoid high charge on taxi fares. Travellers who are going to Samal Island can also take a taxi going to Sta. Ana Wharf.
