Unwind. Play. Learn at Culinary School Org

It's been a while since I wrote again and if you were reading my posts, you know that I have been posting about food more and how I unwind or deal with my everyday life. More foodie and lifestyle content since traveling is still not yet safe or shall I say that it's not yet ideal to roam and travel.

I love food as you all know, it's always part of my travel too. Being able to experience the local food and enjoy it.

I barely cook before but since we experienced several lockdowns and were not allowed to go out just like what we normally do. I basically learned to cook. Thanks to the internet!

Since we are at home most of the time now. Most of us find time to be able to do our passion like cooking, gardening, and doing DIYs which are now my "go-to" when unwinding.

So while browsing for some food recipes, I didn't know how I was able to come across the Culinary Schools website but I find it really interesting so I browse it more and it's nice to learn that they help aspiring chefs to be able to find a school for them and have something to look forward to their career path which will help them achieve their dreams.

They have cooking schools around the world. You can browse it by State for easy reference. To my surprise, they even have games too!

It aims to help children get familiar with the food, farming, cooking, culinary arts, restaurant business as a whole, and other hospitality-led careers. There are around one fifty (150) online games that you can explore and play on! Even though the games are mostly for kids, there are definitely games that adults can play or shall I say kids at heart like me can enjoy playing too!

This is my go-to playing website whenever I want to do some cooking or baking games and especially when my nephew visits me. We get to bond, play, and enjoy while he is learning too.

Here are some of the games he loved to play:

Fruit Sorting Game is a pattern-matching game. The game has players click on the left or right side of the screen to sort fruits by type. This is my nephew's favorite!

Can I Eat It? is a game that we play to let my nephew know which is the good and the bad food that he can eat.

Just quickly click yes or no on the food shown if they think an item is edible. It includes fruits, vegetables, cookies, sausages, socks, sticks, glass, batteries, bugs, and more.

Food Count is a simple math game where kids learn to count and add by counting food items.

A collection of various food items is shown on the screen and you must select from a multiple-choice answer how many of a specific item is shown on the notepad displaying various foods.

It's funny that simple things make me really happy nowadays which is not really very me. Well, I guess staying at home for quite some time now makes me appreciate life more.

We may feel anxiety sometimes so I suggest you try this out to play with your kids too. There are so many games to choose from and these are just some of those that we get to enjoy during my nephew's visit and whenever I need to just relax and unwind for a while.

Let me know in the comments if you have tried playing and which one is your favorite!

  11. The fruit sorting game looks fun. I like to travel but am a bit nervous to do so still as well. We took a little trip this past weekend and it was great but there were SO many people there. I was a bit apprehensive. Thankfully all went well.
