The year 2020 has been tough for all of us since the global pandemic happened. I know that everyone could relate to it as it literally stops our normal lives. Most businesses have limited time, even employees were advised to work from home. Several lockdowns happened. Everything was different. But life must go on. We need to adapt to what is happening around us and just like AYDA (Asia Young Designer Awards) did.
To those who are not familiar with AYDA, it is an avenue that helps inspire students of these fields to develop their skills through cross-learning opportunities and networking with key industry players as well as their fellow peers in their respective areas.
Since we are not yet allowed to have gatherings. A Live Stream was held in order to push the awarding.
There are two categories: For Architecture and Interior Design. The winners of #AYDA2020 are the following:

Honorary Mention: Mahek Khawaja from Pakistan and Marietta Stefani from Indonesia
Nippon Paint Colour Award: Ironi Padmaperuma from Sri Lanka
Best Sustainable Design: Neha Harish from India
Best Design Impact: Eldon Ng Yew Keong from Singapore
Interior Design:
Asia Young Designer of the Year: Evva Lim Yee Fah from Malaysia
Honorary Mention: Suangchanok Wongpollakrit from Thailand
Nippon Paint Colour Award: Dilik Abeyakoon from Sri Lanka
Best Sustainable Design: Margaret Therese Hagad from the Philippines
Best Design Impact: Mai Ngoc Anh from Vietnam
