Intramuros is located in Metro Manila, the capital of the Philippines. It is known as the "Walled City of Manila".
I've been to different parts of the Philippines and I feel that it is somehow a responsibility to share places that we can visit even if we are staying in Manila.
I stayed in Manila for years due to work and I rarely get to visit places around Manila. Why not explore Manila, right? So let's start with Intramuros and nearby places.
If you are already In Manila, just take the LRT (Light Railway Transit) Line1 and get off at Central Terminal Station (This is where SM Manila and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila is). Walk towards Manila City Hall then from here, take the underpass pedestrian which will lead you to Padre de Burgos Street. Be ready as the underpass most of the time is very crowded.

Once you reach the Arch with a guard dressed in an old-civilian uniform, you are already in Intramuros area. You have some options to visit the so-called "Walled City". You can either choose to walk, to rent a bike or hire a tricycle or pedicab to make you explore the place, or why not try the Calesa (a horse-drown carriage) tours being offered there as well.
